Here to get matter straight.


TP2 simcard is not active in the device unless you call and international roaming for when your out of the country.

TP2 can be sim unlocked via a hack which allows it to use other carrier branded sim cards but no 3g data

TP2 sim card is useless in any GSM device unless out of the US and still then it is locked to the device.

So the jist of it SPRINT does not actually use SIM cards for service but has them in the device to be used out of the US and not to be used domestically.
