Not one person here is saying the connection speed is different. The phone's hardware is a bottleneck because it's receiving the information slower than the connection sends it.

EDIT: Or even better, get on Wi-Fi on your phone and then on your laptop. See which one loads your websites faster. A website that loads on my laptop in less than 2 seconds can take up to 60 seconds on my TP2.
No, the phone is more than able to render a page faster than it receives it.
