the left home softkey can be changed by editing your registry as follows:
(i use total commander...keep tapping the ".." until you see the \\plugins option, tap it once, then)
navigate to the HKLM hive, then SOFTWARE, then htc, then manila,
no scroll down to the "Home LSK* options"
HomeLSKArgument is usually left blank
HomeLSKText is the text you want to be displayed, limited to 10-12 characters
