i use yomomedia.com mobile app. you set up your acct on your computer then you can pick what goes to your phone.
it is a little data heavy, i usually have it update once or twice a day. i haven't noticed it slowing my phone down any, i can do that and other data intensive things at the same time.
tried the trial of spb news, but didn't like it, and had trouble setting up google reader and finding my usual feeds. this one does a good job with the articles (downloads more of the story, rarely do I have to click to read the rest) and automatically downloads my podcasts. everything goes to the storage card so it doesn't tie up your phone memory.
