Yest, some can say it is a tax on 4g or an entrance fee (as I call it) but the fact of the matter is, you are getting above 5gb (more) without any potential repercussions.
It's like anything else in this country...purely based on interpetation.

I think most people have gotten over the fact that sprint lied to us about the 4g pricing (or mislead us through its wording) but i think most people are peeved at the fact that yes if you live in a 4g market then you are getting above 5mbps, but what if you don't live an one of the 26 out of 19,355 cities in the USA, thats kind of not fair. I have the money and am more then willing to pay it (once the phone is rooted) but I feel for all you guys not even getting 4g in 2010.
