They clearly say you need the add on to access wifi on the device. I am pretty sure they didn't mean to say "you need the hotspot add on in order to use the phone's internet connection on another device."

I think people are just so excited about this device they can't see the forest through the trees. Sprint said exactly what they meant to say, and if it was a misprint they would have corrected it by now.
