salty you have to realize thats a mis print. One the wifi add on is optional, there is no way for sprint to block wifi accessing your home network or any open network. Imagine if you bought the phone full price and didn't activate it, you can still access the internet through wifi. What your saying is without paying $30 you will not be able to turn the wifi on, you have to realize this doesn't make any sense.
