I keep looking at other devices and am somewhat stuck as well (also just replaced through asurion - just a coincidence though
I love the customizability of the 6700. I believe the 6800 is somewhat better, but really not a whole lot from what I understand.
What I'd really like is a longer lasting battery from a smaller form factor, but with wm6. I almost considered the treo due to battery life - but no wm6. Need that for html email. I use the 3200 ext battery, but the extra size is annoying. The 6800 is not all that much more in battery life from what I can see - for the one that fits in the form factor (I believe the ext is 1650 v. 6700 has 1500).
I just want a good long day out of it
I work in a building with terrible reception (on a side note - the 1.43 radio helped enormously!!) and it kills a battery quickly. The 1500 will be dead when I leave (5hrs) if it's fully charged when I get there. I almost looked at palm (same treo solution - they have a 2400 battery that fits in the form factor). but the palm has very shaky push email, so no go. I just don't think it's work the extra $2-300 for the 6800 for just that. Wish I had another solution
