There is, I did it after I copied all my contacts onto my SIM accidentally. I just don't remember exactly how I did it. Lemme take a look at my phone and I'll post back if I can figure it out. IIRC I was just playing around trying this and that to get it done.

edit: I just looked in /System/Sim manager and there's a drop down for delete contacts. Did you try that? I don't have anything on mine now so I can't try it.
