We did inform people that all data on the device would be erased. As to the loss of Office Mobile apps... we ran into a legal wall. We're still pinning down if we can host a CAB to patch that since it is EULA'ed by Microsoft. However, if we do so such that it will run on Windows Mobile Professional devices only... we think we'll be in the clear.
That's the only major issue folks have pointed out, and it was quickly pointed out on the comments in the article.
