Good questions, I'd also like to know. I'm sure they would not have updated it and released the final ROM if there weren't some kinks to be addressed, so although you've been running fine with your version of MR for a while now, if you're proficient at flashing I would suggest going ahead and doing it, after you backup your contacts to My Phone and everything else to the internal micro-SD card that is!!!
