Also, out of curiosity, what WinMo rom are you running? (I know it should have no bearing on anything in droid, but the post re: stock rom has me thinking of going back)

Yea, should have no bearing... but it may. I've pretty much stuck with EnergyROM. I update typically once a month, that guy cranks out updates seemingly once a week. I usually go with whatever the newest 6.5.x is.
I did a clean-wipe install with the 5/3 build I believe, because they brought it up to 2.1 (2.0.1 is not really developed on any longer...). But typically I just update the things that can be updated, and leave everything else. For the most part, the sqsh file doesn't change, the other stuff just stays the same... so there's no real _need_ to grab the AIO's. Makk just puts those up to make it easy for people (which we do appreciate Makk!)
I did read something over on XDA that made no sense... but can you post your startup.txt so I can compare it with mine?
So I just saw your new post. Glad you got it working, but that is an old build. You'll be running 2.0.1, which I guess isn't all that different. That makes me wonder... Can you download
this SQSH file, backup your current sqsh file (rename it to system.sqsh.bak, and name this one system.sqsh) Please let me know how this works for you.
