I also just tried taking apart the cab and pasting the .dll into the root of my phone. got the same results as above except the speaker is there but not glowing. nothing else changed. |
i had the same exact problem with the taste the rainbow taskbars, even after a fresh hard reset, only installing the blue taskbar... the volume icon only showed as a black square... i solved the problem though i think:
1) uninstall taskbar
2) go into the registry
hklm\software\htc\volumeoverlay\LoadImageFromResDL L and changed it from 1 to 0.
3) soft reset
4) reinstall the taskbar...
that solved the issue for me and now my volume icon works fine.
