Oh ok that makes sense! Thanks for the answers guys, very much a newb when it comes to android but would like to learn more about it before I purchase!!

For those who own android devices, do most people root them like most wm users? I always liked having the latest n greatest Roms but disliked how my phone wasn't "the best it could be" without using new roms. Is android similar to this? Or are most people satisfied with the original rom that came with purchase?
