I'm leaning towards joeys I think. So am I understanding this all correctly that if I use your tutorial I do not have to do the odin thing etc etc. Just follow the steps here? And after I do this I can flash up to one of the 2.1 roms?

Oh one more quick question even though I did a quick search I may have missed it, has anyone come up with anything like a notification led program? It sure would be nice to have the phone blink when I have gotten an email or text or have missed a call. Thanks |
What you need to do is look at Caulkin's 2.1 ROM...
This way you won't have to do anything but use his methods to root/flash your device... his ROM includes the LED notification you are looking for too...
The flash is quite simple too... well I say that because I've done it once or 50 times.
