If I do need to update the radio, how do I go about doing that. Just point me in the right direction  .

i made the same mistake, i upgraded the rom then i didnt know what to do so I held the camera button and the power button and then did a soft reset. Plugging it into the computer would then allow you to upgrade the radio.
