I just flashed the latest GTX after running Task 29 from my SD card. Note that you WILL need some way to remove the Task 29 .nbh file from the MicroSD card and copy a valid ROM .nbh file to the SD card that does not rely on connecting your TP2 to the computer to transfer files (i.e., you will need to use a card reader on your computer). Also: I WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE YOU DO TO YOUR PHONE OR FOR ANY LOST DATA. I recommend that you read up on Task 29 here before you proceed.

Here's a step by step guide (worked for me):
1 ) Back up all information on your phone using your favorite backup methods (I use CHT to backup my settings for CHT, MyPhone to backup contacts and pictures, and the very helpful Settings Export tool created by NRG to backup other random settings).
2 ) Download Task 29 here (from this thread - all thanks thanks should go to Ziggy471, please). This version of Task 29 only includes a splashscreen so it is pretty lightweight.
3 ) Download and install 7zip.
4 ) Open a Windows Explorer window and navigate to the location in which you saved the Task 29 executable. Right-click on the file. Hover over the 7zip menu, and then click "Open Archive."
5 ) Right-click on the file named "RUU_signed.nbh" within the 7zip window. Click "Copy To..." Click on the "..." window to navigate to your storage card and save the file on the root of your card.
6 ) Rename "RUU_signed.nbh" to "RHODIMG.nbh" (without the quotation marks) and then get your phone to enter boot loader mode to flash this new image (I like NinjaDuck's Enter Bootloader CAB - send some thanks his way, please!)
7 ) Once you have flashed the image, your phone will boot to the splash screen and no further; everything else has been erased and rendered a veritable blank slate, a tabula rasa, to which you can write your favorite piece of art (or custom ROM).
8 ) Copy your favorite custom ROM to your storage card and flash away (per these instructions).

Simple as that! Good luck!
