Did you screen have rainbow banding on it before it stopped working? If so, you may be eligible for free repair through manufacturer warranty, ESRP, or goodwill on carrier's behalf (Sprint seems better about this than Verizon).

If you launched the phone in hulk-like anger, you're gonna be spending a few bucks to get the touchscreen working.

As far as controlling your phone via Activesync, I'd recommend Windows Mobile Powertoys (Activesync Remote Display). Download at Microsoft's website: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
