Dear friend,

As we know that we need to setup our new phone number from carrier we want to use.
The steps above is for setup phone number which carrier you choose but not actually sure that you can use it for unlock the phone when you are outside from VZW carrier.

From my experiences unlocking my Omnia SCH-I910, there is the step.
1. You must know what SID, channel number of CDMA number of your carrier phone number.
2. If you can't figure it out, just go*gle it, and find prl (Preferred Roaming List) for the carrier (this is key for unlock your I910).
3. You can also make your own prl by edit the existing prl from another carrier use prl-editor application, and input or change some line with your carrier prl system parameter - I did this, and success (you must have CDMA-Channel of your carrier, MSID and band frquency of the carrier)
4. On your Omnia Tools CD, there is application named Samsung PST, install it on your PC, or if you didn't have the CD, please find it by using internet, most forum have the download link (please make sure if you download the application, there is dll file for I910, otherwise you can't use it).
5. Don't forget to back-up your original phone system configuration use Samsung PST by click "Setting menu" -> "Select All" -> "Read From Phone" -> ""Save MMC File".
6. Upload the prl file to your I910 by use Samsung PST.
7. Soft reset your phone by press the small switch beside the power button.

Indication:
@ "Roaming" icon not appear again just blank icon
@ To make sure that your prl file working, just pressing #43574357* from dial pad. On the lists, System ID will show the correct carrier SID code you have choose.

REMEMBER, STEPS THAT I WROTE IS AVAILABLE FOR NON OTA ACTIVATION OR UPDATE

Hope this can help you.
