Quick question since you all seem to be very knowledgeable about Sprint plans. We've been on Sprint 10+ years and are Premier members. We have shared 3000 minutes plan with a blackberry (on contract) and a TP2 (not on contract). We pay almost $200 per month. We are planning to add a line to the plan for our daughter when the EVO comes out. I am thinking that I will "upgrade" the TP2 to the LG Rumor Touch (which is what she wants) using the upgrade discount, buy the EVO with a new line, then switch the two phones to the other one's number. Is this the best way to go about it? I'm not trying to cheat Sprint, but we've been paying top dollar for our plans for over 10 years, and I paid full price for the 6600 and about $300 for the 6800. They replaced my 3rd 6800 with a TP2 for free after it died, which was nice customer service. I love Sprint but I want to get the EVO without paying $400+.
