What is the difference between a System backup and a data backup? I notice there is a "System" and a "data" section in the recovery console. I did both but which one do I really need to do. The reason why I am posting in this thread is because this sweet 2.1 rom is my next step. USB Cable and Moment in hand. Feels like the good ole' TP2 days.

You can do a recovery backup for returning to where you are now, should you not want to run Calk's ROM. That said...

1. Download and flash Calk's ROM.
2. Download and flash the kernel of your choice (Zeife, Joey or Speedrabbit).
3. Remove the crap that you don't want with the CLI root commands.
4. Enjoy your Moment way more than you do now.

If you decide to go back, just flash the CL14 update and then do a recovery restore and you are right back where you were before flashing Calk's ROM.
