It should work actually, assuming you have ICS installed on the XV6700 too. You would then just use WMWiFi router (or the comm manager with WiFi sharing) to set up the access point, then use the 6700's WiFi to connect, and ICS to share over USB to your PC. You should also just be able to use the Omnia's connection over USB, but I assume you probably need to place it a good distance away from your PC. You are going to need to have custom ROMs on both devices in order to do this, btw.
