i had a zagg protector on my tp1 and i took it off and as i was taking it off the screen kinda lifted up.Then I noticed it had the colors on it.When I sent it in for repairs they said i had water damage,my phone never touched water,bs.So when I got my tp2 I stayed away from zagg.I have a removable protector that comes off without alot of force but not without u taking it off and so far no rainbow.I put a mirror screen protector on my tp1 and with it on you cant see the rainbow,so you might want to try that if all else fails.
