Re: Most of US want an EVO.. but no 4G service in sight for most of OUR area????

Long list of current and markets being opened this year on page 2. New York is one of them. Good theory on why Texas and North Carolina got the most markets to start. Soon Sprints 4G coverage may be greater than AT&T's 3G, though everyone is trying to get their LTE 4G up.

The current markets are Baltimore, Philly, Potland, Salem,OR, Tacoma, Seattle, Bellingham,WA, Boise, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Milligeville,GA, Charlotte, Raleigh, Durham NC, Chapel Hill NC, Greensboro NC, Winston-Salem NC, High Point NC, Chicago, Dallas/Ft.Worth, Abilene TX, Amarillo TX, Austin, Corpus Christi TX, Killeen-Temple TX, Lubbock TX, Midland-Odessa TX, San Antonio TX, Waco TX, Wichita Falls TX, Honolulu, and Maui

Both Texas and North Carolina got a lot of love from Sprint.
EDIT: And for the OP in Michigan, I found this story...

This litigation affects 4G in 81 markets including markets in Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio and Tennessee. The territory includes key markets such as Grand Rapids (MI), Fort Wayne (IN), the Tri-Cities region of Tennessee (Johnson City, Kingsport and Bristol), Scranton (PA), Saginaw-Bay City (MI), Central Illinois (Peoria, Springfield, Decatur, and Champaign) and the Quad Cities region of Illinois and Iowa (Bettendorf and Davenport, IA, and Moline and Rock Island, IL).
