To send them via HTC Album you will go to Share -> Email -> Picture Message however I haven't tried to deal with HTC messaging in several months so I can't promise one way or another that this will work. I can promise you're giving yourself a lot more of a headache using HTC Messaging though, but to each their own. We all have the choice to use what we want.

Receiving MMS work will through HTC messaging. You just have to click on the picture/envelope icon on the right to open the message (auto opens through Arcsoft). All I have ever done is task29, then flash rom, run carrier provisioning & it runs fine. I haven't ever been successful following suggestions on the first page to use Arcsoft only instead of HTC messaging. If I do that, text always open in HTC messaging regardless & then MMS won't work.
