BIGANDADAD - I have been making cabs for my TP2 for a while now and they have been working fine, until recently when i make a cab for custom task-bars, dialers or basically anything that involves replacing a system file in the windows dir, it will do one of 2 things.

2. it will copy the files that do not overwrite anything properly and then it will fail to copy the files the need to overwrite other files, it even says that the install was successful. but after a deeper look i find that the files did not get overwriting.

Before i used to make cabs like these and I would have no problems with files not overwriting. I have even been making my cabs the exact way you say to in post one for a real long time. Im really getting confused with this problem!!!

Is there anymore tips you could give me, or maybe any ideas on what i might be doing that is messing things up?? anything at all!!! lol thanks a lot for everything you do for our community !!!! thanks

the system files you refer to... are they dll's?
