Also did you do a full restore from the old rom? That seemed to be my biggest issue and required me to rebuild.

Opera mini. So far everyone has hailed it as the best browser and I almost agree. It has it's share of problems though.
But lets forget about opera for a second. How about this. Only 2 apps open, pie and google maps....
