For pic editing use PicSay, and I agree that Slacker Radio is awesome. Some more apps that I use on my Hero -
Documents To Go - 14.99, but well worth it
Amazon - what more can I say about it? It's Amazon.com lol
Color Note - awesome notepad
Engadget - keep up with the latest news in electronics, I have it on my desktop as a widget
ez Parking - never wonder where you parked your car again
Game Center - if you have a Gamefly account, you can manage your GameQ and other things
Gaming Buzz - another app I use as a widget, keeps you up to date on breaking video game news
Movies - buy movie tickets, see showtimes and closest theater, look at Netflix queue, but you can't manager your queue though
Paper Toss - very addictive and simple toss a paperball into a trash can
Ringdroid - make ringtones from mp3's
Seesmic - the BEST Twitter app you can use without having to pay for Twidroid
Shazam - Identifies songs playing on radio
Spark - Xbox Live app, can see who is online and send and receive messages
Sportstap - Sports app, I use it as a widget, keep up to date with your favorite teams, get notifications
Trapster - identify police speed traps, saves you money lol
World Tour - wallpaper app that catches camera shots of different locations around the world and sets it as your wallpaper, and changes it every 30 minutes
