I've had freezing issues like blank screen on coming out of standby, issues where I lose all hard buttons except Home and I think I finally figured it out: it's the CHT lock system. It doesn't use the native windows lock system, so it executes its own code to lock buttons. That whole process basically ruins the stability of my phone. I switched it back to Windows Default and used the locker tool in the tools folder to enable locking on standby and so far, battery has been decent and NO freezing or mysterious hard button failures. The lock screen isn't bad, actually, as I get my ACTUAL task bar (one of the complaints of the CHT lock screen), a big clock with a date, and one of my appointments. And the lock slider is more than halfway up the screen which makes it much more comfortable to unlock. Suffice it to say, I am much happier now.
