Hmmmm....... Well if that is the case, then the card reader is obviously not the issue. Just figured it was something worth looking into, as I have only experienced corruption when using a card reader or physically taking the micro SD card out of the phone and have not seen this mentioned as a possible cause.
Oh well.....
