I've tried it with both bluetooth and wired, as well as just using the speaker. Speaker gives an "echo" on the other end. Bluetooth "breaks-up" on my end (but works fine when not using Skype), and wired is perfect.
I agree wired is better but my S9 headset works fine here in the office where I have a 7/7 signal. Has not worked in places like Qatar, but may also have been the signal. Does not appear to be a processing issue, when I have a good signal.

I am using version 3.0.0.256 (not clear how to upgrade). I run 4.2 on desktop.

I am using a standard Sprint ROM.
