So you're saying you couldn't get gps to work in New Orleans either?
If not then I would re-check and make sure AGPS is enabled with at least a 32kb log file and your location is set to ON.
Download and use QuickGPS if you don't have it already.
If you have a gps radio and you are getting a decent signal it should work.
