verizon will not activate this phone.(well, maybe, but youd have to be smooth as hell.)
it used to part of thier open network policy to activate any cdma phone as long as it wasnt stolen. that went out the window a few years ago though. heres a short list of threads ive compiled from the original tp forum about this topic,
