Did you do a selective restore instead of a full restore? What version are you using? I suggest visiting their support forum, they tend to be pretty responsive concerning bugs.

Unpack Tool that lets you uncompress all the files from a Spb Backup created backup file onto you PC desktop. You can manually copy any files you need back to your PPC using this method.
