and to answer your question, you can easily enable the 'sent notification' you are looking for in advanced configuration tool.. but although i have it enabled in advanced config, the 'delivery notification' is still not working for me.

sorry, DJ_kandre seemed like he wanted the SMS Sent bubble. but if someone can figure the delivery notification that would be awesome!
