Um, there's maybe 50 versions in that post with little or no description. Is one of them the latest and the others all older? Or are they all slightly different?

Another advantage is that you don't have the overlap of having two different programs for certain functions like the default software, for example, there are two contact managers, one built in and another from Samsung. The 6.5 contact manager and most of those apps are more finger friendly which is great.
Yes that sounds good. Basic but customizable. I look forward to it.

Each ROM may come with a slightly different setup with different panels, but the clock will definitely be there. It's very clean, has big fonts and is easy to use. Alarms are built in, I believe they're similar to 6.1's but may be improved. I don't use them because I have no need for an alarm on my phone. Countdown timer could be handled by G-Watch, may have been suggested before. That would require a separate install.
I've already installed galarm (trial) which does have a countdown timer of sorts. It could be easier to set alarms and it doesnt' have a one-time/repeat option but it's an improvement on the other clocks I've seen.

I'm Ok with the original 6.1version of those. They don't need to take up much screen space.

So is windows phone 7 going to be available for the Omnia one day? Did I buy a phone that only runs on the mobile version of windows 98? :-0
Truth is, I pretty much stay away from new os's when they first come out. I prefer the tried and true stuff. I'm still staying with xp for my pc.
