Re: Battery Charging with the latest Kernel

Just wanted to clear some things up. For a lot of users, yes, charging has been working but not reporting properly while doing so. A bit back we got some representation of the battery meter, and then recently as mentioned true detection of charging. And no, the battery meter still doesn't show properly, but the overall answer is yes, charging seems to work for most everyone now and instead of immediately showing fully charged when you plug in, even though it might have still been charging in the background, now it truly shows whether it is charging or not.

I honestly haven't left mine plugged in long enough to know if it ever says fully charged or not. Not sure if it will till we get the proper temp settings as well as proper voltage calculations. But at least now everyone should be able to charge without having to boot back into WM.
