I just tried another hard reset and let the customizations run again, but still no luck, and IOTA won't run. Where is this IOTA cab that has been suggested that I run? Do you think going back to 2.17 would restore my settings or am I screwed?
I finally got flashed back to 2.17. I had to enter my MDN and MSID, but the phone and data/Internet are working. I was also to send myself a text message, but I never received an email from my PC to my username@sprintpcs.com.
I noticed the following weirdness that I would appreciate someone checking on their phone:
* In the new ROM my user name was listed under System-Device Information, but in 2.17 there is no user name there.
* When I do edit in ##778#, Security-HDR AN AUTH User Id(LONG) shows my hex ESN@hcm.sprintpcs.com. (Maybe this is why my email didn't come through?!?) Shouldn't it be my username@sprintpcs.com?
* HDR AN AUTH Password(LONG) is a bunch of gibberish extended ASCII characters. Shouldn't it be my SprintPCS password?
* PPP USER ID and PPP PASSWORD are both blank. Is this right?
* Would the IOTA cab help, and if so where is it? I've searched but can't find it.

I'm going to leave it alone until after work tomorrow before trying again, but hopefully someone will chime in to help me out.
