Yes, you should be able to install the new Cookies Home Tab from
XDA-Developers. If you have saved the ROM that you have now you can flash the new one, try it out and then if you still don't like it go back to the older one. It just seems that you'll have to do more work in getting the home tab to work whereas NRG has already done it for you.
