I am on a Sprint TP2 with a 4/14 23557 Cookie, and i too have had issues with answering calls.... i slide to answer (or press the answer button) and it hangs there for a few seconds and sometimes it answers...and sometimes it does not...so quite a few missed calls.
NRG....have you seen this ???
