Correct, rename the faces, use your old hands.
The sizing will be fine for the faces in all configs.
Also, not sure you tried it with one page of quick links, but it does help and I have no more lag like that, then with any other setup.
You can even have no weather on your clock, or no clock at all now, which greatly improves performance as well.
