The only kicker about this is that you will lose the carrier timestamp. In other words, if someone sends you a text at 2pm but your phone doesn't receive it til 5pm, the message will be timestamped as being sent by that person at 5pm
But if this isn't a big deal to you, then no worries. Making the regedit will fix your problem. And if you're scared about making the wrong edit or screwing something up, let me know and I'll be happy to cab it up for you
And to answer your question, no it will not affect old messages that were changed by that one cab you installed. It will only affect new ones coming it after you make the edit

Thank you! I would prefer a cab but dont go to trouble...i think i can live with the double time stamp. One of the time stamps has the right time on it and my messages are in the right back and forth order which was my main concern.
