I'm pretty sure that the slide to unlock feature is standard on any of the 6.5 roms. The above cab will simply give you better control over it, for example you will be able to set it to lock on dimmed backlight.
If you're already running a 6.5 Rom hit start and then the lock icon. if they built in long press end key you can find that in your phone settings and map your lock feature to holding your end key down.
