you might try something simple like gt2l cleanup cab in the stickies, and yeah, I would hardreset back to barebones, do the cleanup cab, run microsoft myphone and try that out for a few days to see if it stops.
another thread thinks it might be usb related (as in that dang cheap miniusb connection is the cause of all evil).
