Not sure, but try to back up this Reg: HKLM/SOFTWARE/HTC/Manila/InternetPush/Enabled inside you will see keys starting with 000, 001, 002, etc. look in there and give it a shot let me know if it works I have not tried yet.

Edit: I backed up key: Enabled, as described above, and deleted my shortcuts, then installed reg and soft reset, and shortcuts are back. so it is CONFIRMED
