Re: power button issues on 6.5?

UPDATE!!!!!

Got my shiny new phone yesterday... I was so happy I didn't bother finding out if it was a refurb. I'm assuming it is... But they did say, on Saturday, they were ordering me a brand new phhone.
EVERYTHING WORKS.... I installed EVERY cab I have and it ALL works...
Power button works.
I can't say for sure that I know what the problem was but I did update the PRL on my old phone as well as on this one.
The one thing that stands out in my mind is that I got my phone last year in early August. Like a week after release. My phone did not power on when I removed the stilus like my TP did. I was a little disapointed with that. I have since read some posts where people's Sprint TP2's will turn on by pulling the stilus. Well... Guess what? This one does it. Which leads me to my point... There MUST be at least two versions of this phone out there which makes be believe that this would be the reason for only some of us having the power button problem. I fought with that issue and backed up my phone religiously. I restored known working backups and the problem persisted....
Also of note... When I tried restoring my backups from my old phone to this one... I received a message telling me that the ROM in this new phone was newer therefore I chose not to restore from backup and instead went ahead and installed EVERY cab one by one.
I am happy with my decision and found my experience to be anything but a waste of time.
