no current program will work work on a non rooted phone except for what srint is proposing, once you root the program that allows you to tether is just as good as wmwifirouter or sprints wimax hub. I'm in your same boat, i've paid for that program about 1 1/2 years ago and took advantage of all the upgrades. At least the rooted app is free.
