I am running a model: cdm530am (Zalip) 3g router from ebay using USB (hack)tethering. Less than $100 and works great. I use it to get wifi from my phone to my PSP. The HTC wifirouter is adhoc only and I needed true wifi for my connection. I dont see why cradlepoint would not work if a cheapo ebay one would.
