Had the samething happen to me last week. Left the phone connected to my PC with the USB cable overnight. Next morning the phone booted to the second screen then shut off. Charged on AC adapter for 2-3 hour and mine was like yours, only 94-97% ,really don't remember. I have also seen times when it would stay at 100% after a couple calls. It's just one of those things above my head.
