I believe 2.5 adds data to the "Comments" section of contacts, so the links SHOULD be there. However, there is also data stored in \FacebookInfo.vol (located on the root of the device) which I believe also stores Facebook link information. You could try backing that file up before a flash and seeing if your links still exist after a flash.

The Facebook contact pictures for 2.5 are stored in \Windows\FBContacts\
